Non-governmental organization “Ukrainian Student Fraternity “The Elite of the Nation” has already successfully conducted four charity masquerade balls in the city of Kharkiv. At the moment, there is no single project alike in Ukraine. We raised the money for the victims in the Anti-Terroristic Operation Zone (ATO). Owing to this project, we managed to raise the sum of money for the equipment for the hospital for the wounded in the city of Tchasiv Yar, etc.

The most recent charity masquerade ball that was held on October 21 became international. Because not only students of higher education institutions of the city of Kharkiv performed dance numbers, but also foreign students were involved.

October 21, 2015 a hundred couples met on the dancefloor for the sake of one single goal. They danced to help to raise funds to help the boarding school for children with psycho-neurological diseases. In addition to it, a charity auction was organized during the masquerade ball, and lots of children’s works of art became lots. The invited guests gladly joined the charitable purpose and acquired almost all the lots.

In total for the evening it was possible to collect 107 000 UAH, which were transferred to the management of the boarding school. The money collected allowed installing a new playground with simulators on the territory of the boarding school and a fence has been reconstructed.

PROCEDURE FOR CHARITY BALL MASQUERADE

To participate in the event, one must apply on the site: eliteofthenation@gmail.com.

The people who received invitations from the ball organizers and attended at least 50% of the training have the right to take part in the event.

Participants must have comfortable clothes and changing shoes for participation in training classes.

To participate in the ball:

• Men need to wear black suit, a tie or a bow tie, a mask.
• Girls need evening dresses and masks. It is possible to have gloves etc. if desired.

Venue is Premier Palace Hotel, Kharkiv (Ballroom).

To the Ball are allowed dance couples and guests who have been registered at the invitations.

Registration of participants starts at least 4 months before the official start of the Ball.

The order of registration is determined by the organizers.

The order of the dancers’ appearance on the parquet is determined by the organizers of the event.

Scenario is developed before the event starts. It must necessarily indicate: the recommended sequence of dances, performances and contests with an indication of time. As well as the start and end time of the event are included to the scenario.

Awarding of participants is carried out according to pre-announced criteria.
