Four projects of the participants of the School of Leadership of the Kharkiv Regional State Administration will be prepared for the implementation in the region

The students will prepare their projects to implement them into real life together with profile departments and offices of the Regional State Administration.

On July 22, the projects were presented and the finalists of the second stage of the project The School of Leadership of the Kharkiv Regional State Administration were awarded. Four teams of the project participants presented their projects that were developed during their internship at the departments of the Kharkiv Regional State Administration.

‘Today we have the final of the second stage of the project, and there will be the third one which will include the realization of those projects that are really worked out in the departments which you have been trained in’, Ihor Rainin, the head of the Kharkiv Regional State Administration, said at the opening meeting.

The finalists of the second stage of the School of Leadership were greeted by Yuliya Svitlychna, the first deputy of the Head of the Kharkiv Regional State Administration, and Myhaylo Chernyak, deputy of the head of the region.

‘You show exactly the level of enthusiasm, competence, energy and desire that young trained professionals should possess who will work for the good of Ukraine’, Yulia Svitlychna said.

Myhaylo Chernyak noted that all participants of the project showed themselves as persistent people who strive for their goal during its implementation.

‘This is an inalienable quality of any leader’, the deputy head of the Kharkiv Regioanl State Administration said. ‘You are a new generation of citizens of our country. Such new blood is needed in the authorities’.

The teams that were trained in the Department of Housing Services, the Department of Infrastructure Development, the Department of Science and Education, the Office of Healthcare, as well as the Office of Culture and Tourism of the Kharkiv Regional State Administration presented their projects.

While introducing the project, the team of the Department of Housing and its leader Ksenia Ivanova said that the purpose of the participants of the School of Leadership was to form a new conscious approach of co-owners of multi-apartment buildings in Kharkiv region.

‘Our project is called the Formation of an Effective Housing Owner in Kharkiv Oblast. We propose to create a unique online resource for the co-owners of multi-apartment buildings called The Alphabet of the co-owner, which will accumulate all useful information on the relevant topics’, Ksenia Ivanova said. ‘It is also planned to introduce distance learning for the head of the unities of the co-owners of multi-apartment buildings and managers of multi-apartment buildings in Kharkiv region’.

The appropriate programs, according to the project, will be prepared by O.M. Beketov National University of Urban Economy in Kharkiv.

The team of the Department of Science and Education of the Kharkiv Regional State Administration devoted its project Clean University to the prevention of corruption at high schools in Kharkiv. The project envisages conducting sociological research, creation of a site for continuous monitoring of information in student environment, as well as a special center that will carry out the feedback, including the organization of lectures and trainings aimed at the counteraction to corruption for both students and lecturers.

‘It is also planned to develop and submit to the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine a draft law on the means of motivation of students and university lecturers and the search for partners to motivate students’, Anna Cherkashina, a member of the team of the Department of Science and Education of the Kharkiv Regional State Administration said. ‘The cooperation with the university’s partners should guarantee the employment for the best students, provide the opportunity for internships and make the learning process beneficial for students’.

The team of the Department of Healthcare of the Kharkiv Regional State Administration developed and already implements into life the social and sports project called Healthy Nation is the Future of Ukraine, which is part of the national strategy of the World Health Organization aimed at the prevention of non-communicable diseases. The project includes sports flash mobs in 10 districts of Kharkiv region, such as free physical trainings outdoors. The first training sessions of this kind has already taken place in the Dergachi district. Commercial organization joined the project as its partners.

‘We are the first region of Ukraine to present a project like this at a training based at the World Health Organization in Kyiv. Other regional representatives are also interested in it and want to implement the project in their regions’, Yana Biletska, a member of the team of the Department of Healthcare said.

Finally, the team of the Department of Culture of the Kharkiv Regional State Administration presented a project aimed at the development of a tourist complex of the region called The Golden Ring of Kharkiv Region. Ihor Pashnev, a teammember, noted that for the first time they decided to focus on the development of one of the elements of the Golden Ring, the National Literary and Memorial Museum named after H.S.Skovoroda. The project includes both the reconstruction of the road to the museum and the creation of camping and equipment facilities for the needs of people with disabilities on its territory.

Assessing the presented projects, Ihor Rainin, the Head of the Kharkiv Regional State Administration, noted that any of them is worthy and important for the region.

‘All four projects have a clear logic. I think that we and you will succeed if all four projects today will be winners’, the head of the region expressed his verdict. ‘We are ready to work with all four teams’.

Ihor Rainin entrusted the profile departments of the Kharkiv Regional State Administration with preparing projects for their implementation and possible financing. In addition, he noted that it is possible to attract budgetary funds in order to implement the projects into life.

‘We will work with international organizations in order to solver the issue of grants. We’ll see what other legitimate sources can join the implementation of these projects’, the Head of the Kharkiv Regional State Administration said.

He also entrusted the heads of the departments and offices to appoint the leaders of the teams presenting the projects as their freelance advisors and let them join the student council of the Kharkiv Regional State Administration.

‘We are going to work together. You have serious implications of civil servants, they need to be developed and improved. We will help you in this’. Ihor Rainin told the project participants.

At the end of the presentation, the head of the Kharkiv Regional State Administration awarded all its participants with certificates of finalists who have successfully completed the second stage of the School of Leadership.
